Sparkly Suds

Our outdoor "messy" activity was Sparkle Soap. We grated 3 bars of ivory soap, added warm water and glitter. Everyone had a turn grating the soap. Once the warm water was poured in; they had to work fast to build up the suds and melt the soap by whisking, stirring and mashing. They got a pretty good upper arm work out with this one! Once the suds filled our water table we added in the "sparkles". This was a really fun activity for the children. Messy?? But we used soap, so does that constitute as a ''"messy" activity?! :)  Regardless of what you want to label it, they had an absolute blast!

Another wanted water & sand to make cakes and ice cream cones. So we did both! It's Summer after all, schedules are out the door. Relaxation and fun are what its all about today!
